For Mental Health Awareness Week, we’d like to share with you some of the practices we hold dear as part of our natural approach to sleep and wellness.
For us at Ava Innes, it comes back to two things:
Nature is where we seek out life’s glimmers and immerse ourselves in awe. Where we are given the space to breathe, to contemplate, and to process. Nature is the great leveller of all the emotions, life’s challenges, and stressors. It is in nature that we discover a mindful and simpler experience that’s sensory, freeing, and reassuringly always there.
Sleep, the foundation of all wellness, is how our brain is able to repair, restore, and to process. Interlinked to whole body health, it is the brain that switches into deep sleep in order to process memories, to rejuvenate cognitive load, and to create a more resilient mind and body to handle whatever life brings our way.

The single best thing you can do to improve your overall wellbeing is by sleeping better, naturally. We encourage you to do so by focussing on the quality of your bedding — its materials, its weight, its breathability, and its gentle nature.
Part of the reason we share Our World in the Highlands with you, is because we want every Ava Innes customer to be able to sleep cocooned and transported to a slower pace of life grounded and inspired by nature.
So tonight, when you slip under your duvet and feel the gentle weight of it over you, your wool pillows supporting whatever load your mind carries, we hope you drift into deep and undisturbed slumber carried by the stunning landscapes of our home, the honesty of our natural fibres, and the gentle craftsmanship we choose for your best ever sleep.
