Ava Innes Named Best Non-Feather Premium Duvet of 2025 by English Home

The English Home has named the Ava Innes Light Summer Duvet as The Best Non-Feather Premium Duvet of 2025. Read the review below.

I rated the Ava Innes duvet highly in our best winter duvets round-up and I was equally thrilled with the summer version. It arrived wrapped in tissue paper like an expensive item of clothing and its clotted-cream coloured cover was silky soft, made from organic cotton with detailed stitching that oozes quality.

Its USP is the fact that it’s made primarily from cashmere guard hair filling, which like wool, is perfect for temperature regulation. The thin profile of the duvet is also akin to a wool duvet, meaning it’s quite easy to store, but despite its lack of puff, there’s a weight to it that provides a cosseting feel and a lovely drape. Personally, I found it a delight to sleep under, even during the warmer weather, and didn’t overheat.

It’s worth noting that cashmere guard hair is a great alternative to down for allergy sufferers who still want an all-natural duvet, plus cashmere goats actually have a lower carbon footprint than sheep, so it’s a good choice for the planet, too. You can also wash it at 30°C, so you don’t need to fret if you have any tea or coffee spillages, and it should fit in a regular-sized washing machine.

While Ava Innes duvets are certainly an investment purchase, they are truly luxurious to sleep under and ideal for allergy sufferers who still want that premium sleep experience.
